Dosierung/Anwendung:

• Single dose (1):
• intubation dose: 0.5-1 mcg/kg iv
• intraoperative anesthesia: 0.25-20 mcg/kg iv
• Infusion for sedation or analgesia (2):
• loading dose: 0.1-0.5 mcg/kg, followed by an infusion of 0.005-0.01 mcg/kg/min (should generate a blood concentration of approximately 0.2 ng/ml; clinical experience shows that concentrations between 0.1-0.4 ng/ml are sufficient for most operations, and that higher concentrations are only required during cardiac surgery).
