Warnhinweise und Vorsichtsmassnahmen: its half-life is prolonged in patients with renal dysfunction, therefore monitoring and/or dose reduction is recommended in these patients (1).

Revertieren: LMWHs can be partially neutralized by protamine sulfate (1).

Eigenschaften/Wirkungen: LMWH - by binding to antithrombin - has a selective inhibitory effect on factor Xa (1).
