Measurements: - The risk of myocardial injury is greater if mean arterial pressure is <55 mmHg. No significant association was found between myocardial injury and other ranges of blood pressure. When compared to patients who spent no time with a mean arterial blood pressure <55 mmHg, increased risk of myocardial injury varied from 1.3x (1-5 min. MAP <55 mmHg) to 1.8x (>20 min. MAP <55 mmHg) (1).
